Led Zeppelin - "Going to California" - 2 LP - COLOR VINYL - TMOQ -

Found this beauty going through my record collection.  I've recently once again become a vinyl nut, scooping up used vinyl at a record pace (for me), but feel it's time to part with some rare gems (so I can buy more vinyl!)

I tried to find info on this particular title, and found it had several incarnations (about 8 that I could find).  I could NOT however find this EXACT version, leading me to believe that it is VERY rare. 

For starters, the paper flyer that serves as the cover artwork has "A product of Mammary Presentations" in the lower right-hand corner.  I did find one reference to this on the web, and all I could surmise is that it was an offshoot label or something, that used the original TMOQ plates.  In addition, as you can see - one of the 2 LPs has the TMOQ logo in the center.  Oddly..the other in the set simply has the side numbers - also, the records are 2 different color vinyl - the TMOQ disc is gold/yellow, and the other is blue.  I could not find this pairing anywhere in my research. 

The set is definitely 100% guaranteed vintage and is in near mint condition, but I would rate it VG+ since it is not technically sealed and new.  I don't remember where I got it, but then again, I don't remember where I got half of my records!

The set is in EXCELLENT condition - just your normal amount of dust/static, and a pop or two - no skips.  It might just be my equipment, but I have this amount of "static" on even brand new 180-gram vinyl, and I'm sort of picky, so I don't think you'll have any objections to the condition of these records.  There is no visible wear or surface marks - they look brand new, but again, I can assure you they are pure vintage.  The white outer jacket has started to yellow around the edges, as have the paper inner sleeves.  This thing is a jem.

I'm basing the BIN price on what I have found other, less rare versions of this to have sold for, and asking prices (one near $800) for others.  There is also a "Best Offer" option, so don't call me names or insult my intelligence, or tell me the set is worth $15 - The true collector will know what it is worth, and if it doesn't sell, or a reasonable offer is not received - I'll simply keep it in my collection and enjoy it.  I have plenty of other items to unload to feed my vinyl addiction!!
