Led Zeppelin House of the Holy Nr Mint UK 1St Press LP
1973 Original Green and orange Atlantic label.
K 50014 (A2 B2 Stampers)
No Warner Bros Logo on the edge of the label.
The inner sleeve is Textured Card and printed by MacNeill Press in London
Superb Original First edition of this classic Led Zeppelin vinyl release.
Presented in the original Matt printed gatefold sleeve and due to the original owner placing the vinyl in a new poly lined inner sleeve the original textured inner sleeve has survived with no tears, writing or seem splits.
This record has not been played for approx 30 years and as a result there is some debris in the grooves, the first play of this vinyl is still astounding, the power and clarity and clear to hear and whilst there is the odd tick here and there for the most part this plays superb, no crackles, no hiss.
In my experience this kind of record will improved with a few plays, even the near silent verbal intro to the Ocean on side two is clear, concise and without distortion and confirms this is a truly awesome playing record.
Visually under a 100 watt bulb there are a few very minor wispy dust marks but No scratches, No needle marks and No abuse of any kind, under a normal light this record will look stone mint and you get my 40,000 top rated and 100% feedback record to back that Up.
The gatefold sleeve is in fine order with no tears, writing or wear of any kind, the spine is clean and un-cracked and the edges are sharp. There is one small crease on the reverse that is hardly noticeable but I thought it best to mention.
It easily grades as near mint.
The inner sleeve is faultless with some extremely minor ink rub due to it being stored inside the gatefold sleeve whilst the vinyl was stored inside the sleeve, this is very minor and will probably come off with a rubber but I will not attempt it. Easily near mint again.
Over all this is a very nice and very straight record, it plays as you would hope a new vinyl album would play and lays flat on the turntable, the packaging and all parts are well above the standard you would expect to find and I think this is just about as good as it gets without finding a sealed copy, as always full money back guarantee if you are not delighted but I ask that you must do this within 1 week or receiving the item, and as always if you are Russian you may not bid on any of my items.
