Description

Description

Atlantic label; catalogue number K50014.  Matrix numbers “K 50014 A2” and “K 50014 B2”.  “STERLING RL” is stamped in the run-off areas, both sides.  Gatefold sleeve and protective band.

I purchased this album at time of release and it’s not been played for over 40 years and rarely before then.  I think it is a first release issue.  The vinyl is heavier than many other I own and, for what it is worth, I have weighed the LP at 140 grams.  This album has been stored in a plastic sleeve since purchase.

We need the space now so are selling all my old vinyls.  Smoke and pet-free home.

Condition, using “Record Collector” magazine's grading guide

Record

VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT.  A few light surface marks.  My husband has converted it to digital format with Audacity and the quality is fine; just a little background noise in places and one audible scratch at 12’57” to 13’07”.  No jumps or sticking.

Labels

EXCELLENT.  Light spindle marks on both sides.

Textured Lyric Inner Sleeve

EXCELLENT:  Un-creased and no handwritten notes.  There are a few light tan-coloured spots front and back - see photos; seem to be from the inside of the outer sleeve.

Sleeve outer

EXCELLENT:  The sleeve has very slight scuffing – see photo.  No handwritten notes.

Protective Band

FAIR:  The band has been broken and the two ends are frayed from being exposed through the open end of the plastic storage sleeve.
