Overall Description
Here we have a true 1st pressing of the 1973 classic Led Zepp record!!
The record is presented a gatefold sleeve with original lyric card inner!!
Complete with the earliest A1 and B1 matrix endings and Porky and Pecko etched into the dead wax!!

Outer Sleeve
The beautiful gatefold outer sleeve is in really near perfect condition throughout. There is no writing on either side. The colours are still lovely and vibrant, with all edges in pristine condition. The only thing to mention is minor storage wear to the corners, but even that is minimal. There are no rips, stains, discolouring or any other sign of aging. It’s a hairline away from mint Excellent++
Inner Sleeve
The original card lyric inner is in fantastic condition with no writing, rips or tears at all! There is some mild discolouring to the edges, but no folding or splits!! Excellent
Labels
The iconic green and orange 1st press Atlantic labels are in lovely condition, with only a few minor spindle marks being visible under a strong halogen bulb!! There is no writing, rubbing or stains at all! Excellent +
Vinyl Visual
The record still retains its factory shine and lustre. It’s a heavy record, again a sign of a first press. There is no evidence of warping at all!! There are a couple of hairlines that can be seen under a strong halogen bulb, but none that can be felt, and none that my system picked up on! It’s clear to see this record has not been hammered as many copies often are Excellent
Vinyl Audio
The record played through superbly!! There are no jumps or skips. There is no warping or distortion on the heavy parts at all. The dynamics are perfectly separable and crystal clear. A real joy to listen to!! Maybe one pop can be heard from start to finish!! Excellent +
