Up for auction is a highly sought-after 1973 UK/US hybrid pressing of Led Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy (Catalogue K50014).
The Matrix / Dead Wax Details:
This specific copy features the legendary "RL" and "STERLING" stamps in the run-out groove (Matrix: ST-A-732784-B).
• RL (Robert Ludwig): This identifies the record as being mastered by the world-renowned Robert Ludwig at Sterling Sound. Ludwig's "hot" mastering is famous among collectors for its incredible dynamic range, deep bass, and punchy sound—widely considered the definitive way to hear this album.
