Led Zeppelin: Houses of the Holy Fold-Out LP 1971 Mint Condition
The naked children on the cover, even though viewed only from behind, was very controversial at the Houses of the Holy's release in 1973. Nevertheless, the album topped the charts worldwide: reaching #13 in the US and is #51, #278, and #75 in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Top 200 Albums of All-Time, Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and Pitchfork Media's Top 100 Albums of the 1970s, respectively. The LP, Fold-Out Cover, and Sleeve are all MINT. As with my other listing for "IV," the condition is so good, I believe this may have been a 1977 pressing.
This album was played once, for recording a needle-drop cassette, which was then used as the primary listening source. The album has been stored vertically, in air-conditioned space, ever since.
** Beezar Audio exclusively used Technics SL-10 and SL-7 linear tracking turntables with Shure V-15 P-mount cartridges and styli when playing LPs. **
