Description
I am having a clear out of a few duplicate versions of albums I have had in my own collection for many years. This is one of a few UK early press Led Zep albums I am listing, all are in superb condition, otherwise I wouldn't still have them after all this time !!! This is "Led Zeppelin I " 1969 UK press on the plum coloured Atlantic label. The stamped matrix numbers are 588171 A//1 588171 B//1 (the second 8 on both numbers has been corrected with an hand-scribed 8). Apart from a couple small inaudible non-feelable light marks on side one, this album grades as a very strong Ex++ to near mint. Visually I will grade it as Excellent ++, but audio is definitely a near mint with no issues, the sound is clean and clear indicating a minimum of plays in its life. Any lines on the vinyl in my scans are simply light reflections and not on the record. The (grey stripe) cover is in excellent condition with fully straight and readable spine. The album comes in its original poly lined inner sleeve. The labels are near mint with only the very slightest of spindle marks very near the centre hole, denoting perhaps a handful of plays maximum.
