Description
DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin 1st self titled LP- Led Zeppelin I. Complete original UK early plum/red label copy with corrected machine stamped matrix ending A1/B4. Fully laminated sleeve. Comes in correct "Plastic Bags are Dangerous" poly lined inner dated 1171. . LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588171 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G+/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen generally and a couple of areas where vinyl has lost its glossy sheen. Played passages of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on turntable. Plays VG generally and at times better. It plays through without skips, sticks or jumps. Music is clear and loud with a trickle of background sound in quietest passages and an occasional tick. "Your Time Is Gonna Come" has a softish tick that is repetitive at times. The slow bluesy "I Cant Quit You Baby" plays nice and clean. I bought this graded as VG/EX and im pretty sure it would be sold elsewhere at these grades. Cover is in much better than average shape and a decent VG+. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, corner wear and near moderate creasing. Really clean labels- check out the photos. Original inner retains nice shape and is clean with no splits. Poly is still fully attached. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
