Description
This is a Led Zepplin I LP with turquoise lettering. It is one of the first 1000 Led Zep albums released in the UK in 1969 making it rare and collectable.
The condition of the cover is excellent. Front and back are in excellent condition and all folded edges are perfect with only very light wear on one corner and some light wear on the front cover edge where the lP comes out.
The condition of the disc is good to very good, looks clean with only a few light scratches and plays true.
Someone has written their name in biro on either side of the disc under the Led Zeppelin title, which some may say makes it less of a pure example.
The disc itself has all the necessary hallmarks to authenticate it. It was made in Gt. Britain under licence from Atlantic Recording Corpn…U.S.A. It also has a ‘superhype’ label credit and the label matrix of side1: 588171 A//1 and side 2 588171 B//2.
I purchased this LP as a collectable some thirty years ago when my imagination was caught on the idea of owning such an early album by one of the great supergroups of the 70s. It is a great collectable lP.

This LP was withdrawn from auction as there was a spelling mistake in the title. Many thanks to those of you who pointed out that Led Zeppelin has an e between the p and l!!! This is the same item. Apologies if you have had to bid again!
