Description

Led Zeppelin 1st original US SD-8216 mislabel. Purple/Brown

Vinyl Side 1 has many light surface scuffs and some light hairlines. Looks and Plays VG+
Vinyl side 2 has couple scratches. One can be felt.. Beginning sounds VG+ then in the last 2 songs there is some ticking in the softer passages which there is a lot in those songs.. No skipping at all.
 Cover is very solid VG+ or better. Some seam wear but not split. Very clean .

 This album has the long pause from Black Mountain Side to Communication Breakdown

 Label variant: (Atco) purple/brown Stereo labels that were only produced on Atlantic releases when pressed at RCA Records Pressing plant, Indianapolis.

Also side 2 does sound a little different from the standard issue. There is a long pause between "Black Mountain Side" and "Communication Breakdown", where the standard issue had no silence at all. And there is an unusually long silence between "Communication Breakdown" and "I Can't Quit You Baby", much longer than was on the standard issue.
