Led Zeppelin I Plum Label UK 1969 Vinyl Record Orange Sleeve Lettering.
1st pressing matrix numbers with plum labels and 2nd version jacket with orange lettering. Sought after.
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, stamped): 58#8171 A//1 1 2 8
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, stamped): 58#8171 B//1 8 1
2nd 8 in matrix/ runout area is scratched out on both sides with an 8 hand etched above the scratched out 8 on both sides. Other mother/ stamper numbers mentioned are to the best of my sights ability and could be different as the numbers are difficult to see.
VG condition record and VG condition or better jacket. No writing, stickers or sticker marks anywhere. Original poly lined paper sleeve has 7cm split right side 2cm split left side.
Despite VG condition visually, some crackling etc here and there and being obviously played many times this is still a very enjoyable listen with no skips or jumps. This is a testament to the excellent quality pressings of UK 60's rock records. May sound better after an ultrasonic clean.
My gradings are as follows: VG, VG+, NM. Much like Discogs.
I generally won't sell anything less than VG and wouldn't grade anything above NM even if brand new in the shrink. If on the off chance I list something super rare in less than VG condition I will leave an accurate, detailed description to avoid any unwanted surprises
Will be packaged carefully to avoid damage in transit. If you prefer a different postage/ courier option I am happy to accommodate the buyer's cost, just let me know prior to payment and I will update and send a revised invoice for payment. If you end up overpaying on postage I will generally issue a refund for the difference automatically. If I haven't done so please just let me know and I'll issue the partial refund when eligible.
My feedback rating speaks for itself. Honest, genuine items from all periods, and tastes, from ancient to modern and everything in between. What I sell is all part of my own eclectic collections.
