This record is a bit of a mystery.  I have yet to find another one like it.  Its sleeve looks just like a US sleeve (right down to the NY address for Atlantic Records), only it's laminated like a European pressing.  It has red/plum labels like the original UK pressings, but not quite (note the different font, the large "A" to the left of the Atlantic "fan" logo and the large "1" and "2" where it says "Side 1" and "Side 2").  I purchased it from a lady in England who said she was the original owner and had purchased it in the UK.  It sounds just like an original US copy (it does not sound like a UK copy) and uses the original US matrix numbers.  There is no indication of where it was made on the sleeve or label, but the record has "Manufactured in Germany" stamped into its dead wax area.  From what I can gather, it is an export copy made in Germany for distribution to the US that somehow ended up being sold in the UK!

There are some light laminate creases on the front and back and some light wear by the opening.  Tight seams, no splits, but there is a half-inch spot in the center of the top seam where the laminate and artwork are beginning to come off.  Spine is intact and readable, but there is a one inch area where the laminate is starting to flake off.  No writing on back cover.

Vinyl  VG+

Some light surface marks and scuffs (none that are feelable).  No deep scratches.  Vinyl retains most of it's original glossy finish.  No writing or wear on label.  Only a few marks by the spindle hole.  Comes in plastic lined white inner sleeve.


All grading is done visually.  If you need me to play-test a specific track, please email me.  I try to grade conservatively in the hopes that what you receive will meet (or hopefully exceed) your expectations.

Domestic Postage - $4 for Media Mail (with delivery confirmation) for LPs, $1 for each additional LP.  $3 for 1st class (with delivery confirmation) for 45s, $.50 for each additional 45 (or to ship each 45 with an LP).  Insurance and Priority Mail shipping are available by request.

International Postage - $14 for First Class International for LPs, $3 for each additional LP.  $6.00 for First Class International for 45s, $1.50 for each additional (or to ship each 45 with an LP).  Insurance and Priority Mail shipping are available by request.  I pack well, so I cannot be held responsible if the postal service damages an uninsured item.

Returns - I try to be very thorough in my descriptions, but if you find a record to not be as described, I will accept returns up to 7 days after delivery.  Please contact me first and let me know the reason for the return.  Refunds given only on the cost of the item, not on shipping charges.
