Description
Led Zeppelin LP entitled "Led Zeppelin II" released in 1969 on Atlantic (SD-8326). Early US stereo pressing. The vinyl is mastered by Robert Ludwig on side one and Lee Hulko on side two with "SS RL" etchings in the side one matrix and "SS LH" in the side two matrix. The gatefold cover is VG++ or better. The front and back cover are very clean. There are a few tiny specks of wear on the upper seams and other spots of light edge rubbing/wear, the back edge of the spine has signs/wear from opening and closing the gatefold, there is an air pocket inside the gatefold on the left side panel, and there are small dings to the front cover's right side corner tips. The vinyl is VG++ (actually closer to M-) with some faint sleeve scratches. There are several light spindle trails on the labels that are only seen when angling the labels in light glare.
I use oversized LP mailers with layers of strategically placed bubble wrap to fully protect the cover's corners and edges during transit. Sealed albums are pressure strapped between cardboard flats to clamp down on the vinyl inside and prevent splits.
The grading scale I use is: M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, ...
