Description

DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin- II 2 LP.  Very early UK pressing with The Lemon Song credit to sleeve and label, lightly textured plum labels. matrix ending A2/B2, lighter brown gate fold sleeve ("Shes a Woman")  and correct style of white inner dated 0271. Postage cost includes tracking and a box/cruciform mailer.  LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER:  Atlantic 588198. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969. COUNTRY OF RELEASE:  UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (Please read on)/VG. Vinyl is clean with a pretty decent sheen. It has a fair few light hairlines and a surface line on side 2. Played pretty much all of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable.  Plays VG. Music is generally clean, clear and loud with an occasional tick. There is just a trace of background sound in the quieter tracks ("What is and What Should Never be"). "Moby Dick" has a soft repetitive tick for partof it but music remains loud and prominent throughout. It has a split second skip during a quiet passage of "Whole Lotta Love" hence low grade. I would probably grade VG without this. Cover is in better than average shape.  It is firm and square with moderate edgewear,  moderate corner wear and only light creasing. Has a few light foxing spots visible on white print and a fine felt tippen squiggle to upper rear right hand corner. Very clean inside to gatefold. White inner is acceptable with a couple of repaired tears around the centre hole. I will send it with a new white inner as well as the original. Really clean labels -please check out the photos.  No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.   PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
