Description

A 1st press from winter 1969 on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A2/B2. Label shows the 'LEMON SONG' track - this is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in the original Ernest J. Day lighter brown cover. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex+/NM) In immaculate condition - you can only sit back and marvel at this one. It is unbelievable and clearly has only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection we cannot make out a single mark on the mirror shiny surfaces. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Make no mistake about it - I have never heard Zep II at this level of preservation [literally perfect]. Intros and inbetweens are totally silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity and not the merest hint of interference. We didn't detect more than a couple of crackles [literally] the whole way through. The audio quality is absolutely astonishing - perfect perfect reproduction through all frequencies. You can even hear the vocal echoes perfectly. I would quite happily recommend this copy as a final upgrade from an audio perspective - I just don't believe anything beyond this exists.
Cover (Ex)  In great shape and has clearly been very carefully cared for. Please note the cover is signed on the rear and there are two white stickers. These covers are often faded, but this one's colours are still very vibrant. The only fade is along the extreme edge and that really is all. Edge wear is very minimal too. The cover retains excellent rigidity and the openings are still nice and sharp. The spine is pretty much intact. Again, difficult to imagine going much better than this... 
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing no rips.
