Description

An original 1971 Red and Plum Zep II. As good as you could hope to find from an audio perspective. Matrix 6/4. Heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover. The original  inner too . 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Side 2 label --- waste wax in the spindle hole. Now, that is really unusual. Just clean riffage - even in the lowkey moments!  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback. This is a very high standard of preservation for Zep Red & Plum. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Nice detailed sound...plenty of dynamics...good snappy percussion and drumming....The audio is absolutely top dollar...clean feeder  into the quiet moments.  Slight presence briefly in one spot that was all [ 1 X intro]..Superb! Power and detail combined. If you really want to hear all the vocal acrobatics in Zep II ...for the 1st time...this is the sort of standard u need to hit.
Cover (Vg+)  Nice clean surfaces this copy still looks great and the surfaces exhibit only minor wear and minimal ageing. Might have graded a tad higher but for a surface tear top right on front. I will re-seat that bit that's curled up and blend the rest in with darkbrown. Basically, it will end up as a minor cosmetic issue. . A couple of pin-pricks in places. Minor edge wear and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 90% intact with all text legible . Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) No split. Aged tho.
