DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin II 2. Scarce (?Pye) contract pressing with "The Lemon Song" to label and sleeve. The labels have an extra pressing ring from the standard variant. Early plum/red label UK copy with hand etched matrix ending A/B and with "KT". t LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588 198 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+ (Please read on)/G+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen. It has some brushing lines, hairlines and a couple of 1cm surface lines in side 2. Played the majority of this, including all of side 1 today my budget deck. It skips 6 or 7 times on "Whole Lotta Love", and a couple on "Heartbreaker" the rest plays through fine. This is the third copy of this I have had and one of the others also skipped multiple times on the same tracks. Sits flat on turntable. Plays around VG generally. Music remains easily prominent with occasional ticks. Still a powerful sound. Cover is in acceptable shape. It is firm and square and has heavy edge wear, corner wear and near heavy creasing. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER BLUES/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticibly deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
