DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- II, 2. Early UK pressing with plum/red labels, A2/B5 matrix, the lemon song and gatefold sleeve. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588 198 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+(Please read on)/ G. Vinyl is clean with a deecnt sheen and some surfae lines and hairlines.. A couple of very short hairlines prevent visual EX grade. Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds generally Very Good and better with an occasional tick. It has a skip in intro to "Livin Lovin Maid" hence low grade. Cover has heavy edgewear 2" split to spine hence low grade) , cornerwear and near moderate creasing.. Clean labels. No writing, rips, sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
