Description

  • Up for sale is this original factory pre-recorded 4 track reel to reel tape of "Led Zeppelin II" released in The United states in 1970 on Ampex Tapes. The tape plays at 3 3/4 IPS and has a flaw on the first track "Whole Lotta Love". The original owner must have made a mistake & press the record button twice during the song, once for 8 seconds & another time for 10 seconds. Those spots are missing the original recording. All the rest of the tape sounds great & complete with no drop outs and plenty of leader tape on both ends. This is one of the best ways to listen to the original stereo analogue mixes by Jimmy Page with great stereo separation. The original reel box is in near mint condition with no corner splits & very little rub wear to the front slick. This is the best conditioned reel box of this title i have ever seen. The factory reel & label are also in near mint condition. Thanks Frank
