Description

Here is a Rare Led Zeppelin Record Club Pressing up for auction. These Led Zep Record Club Pressings have become more difficult to find these days and has gained popularity in the collectors market due to their limited pressings and accessibility.

 

Here are the details:

 

·       “LED ZEPPELIN II” LP by Led Zeppelin

·       This LP has a gatefold cover.

·       This LP is from ATLANTIC RECORDS with a catalog number of SD 19127 and was released in 1977.

·       However, this is the RARE COLUMBIA HOUSE (RECORD CLUB) PRESSING.

·       This LP was NOT sold in record stores. You had to be a member of the Columbia Record Club to be able to buy and receive it. 

·       The VINYL is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.

·       The GATEFOLD COVER is tight and in VG+ CONDITION. There is some light wear on the corners and light overall wear. There is a tiny corner push at the top left corner. The Gatefold cover is tight indicating it has not been opened much if at all. 

·       This COLUMBIA HOUSE RECORD CLUB PRESSING has the following 2 features identifying it as a Record Club pressing:

 

1)   The following is printed along the bottom of the rear cover:

“Manufactured by Columbia House Under License”

 

2)   The letters “crc” for “Columbia Record Club” are printed on both labels under the “S” in “STEREO”

 

So, we have an LP originally issued by Atlantic Records and reissued by Columbia House (Records) exclusively for Record Club members!!!
