The Canadian 1st RED LABEL pressing is highly sought after by collectors and audiophiles!
Sounds a bit smoother than the RL pressing, and slightly less detailed than the UK pressing.
Dynamic and punchy mastering.  Will definitely blow any 70s reissue out of the water!

The disc is visually EXC-/VG++, but plays well above grade! (hear clips below)
slight surface noise audible in the quietest passages (intros to Thank You, Bring It On Home).

Some dull scuffs and light marks visible, but no deep scratches.  LP is clean and glossy.
A few ticks and pops here and there, but nothing that overpowers the music. 
Not a perfect collectors copy, but a great listening copy for daily use!

Nice loud cutting of this classic LP!  Powerful bass, excellent midrange presence!

Audio clips are unedited.  No noise reduction, click removal or EQ has been applied.  What you hear comes directly from the 'tape out' of
my 1950s tube amp into my computer's audio interface.    Stereo tracks are played on one of Audio Technica's higher-end consumer cartridges
with an eliptical stylus tracking at 1.5g.  While this sort of cartridge represents what this disc may sound like on the typical mid-fi home audio
system your results may vary depending on your turntable, cartridge, and stylus.  Additional clips can be made available upon request.

I make every effort provide bidders with ample information from which to draw their own conclusions as to the grade and value of the item.  My listings usually include a full tracklisting, numerous photos of the cover, label, and inner sleeve, unprocessed audio clips of every track (30 seconds or more each), a transcription of label and cover text, and a detailed written decription.   It is the buyer's responsibility to review all of this information prior to purchase.  If any additional information (photo, audio clip, etc) is required, or if any of the aforementioned parameters are absent from a listing please ask 12+ hours prior to end of auction; I will provide them ASAP.  Due to the extensive detail I provide in my listings I generally do not accept returns unless I have overlooked a major defect.  In the unlikely event that the item does not match the description please contact me without delay.

Visual grading:

M-         sealed, unplayed, or absolutely flawless with no discernible defects. Few items make this grade.
NM       'like new' with only the lightest signs of use: hairline paper scuffs, tiny abrasions from transport, etc.
EXC      beautiful copy with perhaps a few dull non-sounding scuffs, spindle marks, etc. but no major defects
VG++   as above, but signs of use more visible. Will be clean. May have minor scratches that don't detract.
VG+      some pops and crackles expected, numerous visible marks. No longer beautiful, but still enjoyable.
VG        lowest acceptable grade to most collectors.  Significant wear and scratches. Expect surface noise.
G           grade for a record that has been abused but is still playable. Worth considering for very rare records.
F            records graded F/P are to be considered a filler copys, and shouldn't be played with expensive needles.      

Additional '+' or '-' denote gradation between grades.  Conduct your own auditory grading by listening to the audio clips!
