I'm an long-time audiophile selling off largely duplicates from my personal collection.
This rare LP shows a many fine scratches and marks on both sides, none feel-able however. I've played this record all the way through. It plays with significant crackle and surface noise in quiet passages such as during portions of "Moby Dick", "Ramble On", at the end of "Thank You" and beginning of "What Is and What Should Never Be", but the fidelity and dynamics compensate making it an overall good listening experience. In louder passages the surface noise is not noticeable. There are no skips, jumps or obtrusive pops when played on my Linn LP12 with a 1.5g tracking weight. The original Atlantic inner sleeve is split on one side. The cover is clean with a light edge and corner wear. Only the lower left corner is bumped. The spine is solid. Note what appears to be an unobtrusive yellow marker stripe on the back. Despite the relatively low grade this is a good playable copy, desirable because of its rarity.
It has been ultrasonically cleaned in Tergikleen solution and rinsed and vacuumed on a VPI 16.5 so it's ready to play on Christmas morning. Even shipped via media mail it should arrive well ahead of Santa.
It will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record mailer for safety.
