Notes about the cover - Spine and corners mostly still intact. Moderate overall staining/shelf wear. No ring wear. No cracks inside of gatefold. Back top gatefold has a split about 4 3/4" clearly shown. No handwriting, no missing pieces, no repairs. The Atlantic paper advertising sleeve shown is included. I don't assign grades to these. I think it is the correct one for this release. The "newest" albums I see on here were early 1969 releases. Vinyl album and jacket both stored in proper archival sleeves.

Album notes - This album has scuffs, groove, and surface wear basically throughout. Pretty flat. Centered. Stylus doesn't jump or wiggle around. Moderate wear and spindle marks to both labels. There are two scratches that are feelable. I played this album through twice both sides. Pretty noisy throughout, like bacon frying during the quiet passages. I would say side two is about half as noisy as side one. I noted a single pop (but didn't cause a skip) about halfway through What Is And What Should Never Be, and another (same) during the Lemon Song. My system unfortunately doesn't hide much from the listener. YMMV. I didn't adjust the tracking force on my turntable to try and compensate or anything. EQ settings were set to zero/flat and no bass boost or digital enhancement so just raw honest analog playback. I note the sound to be full, punchy, sharp, deep, almost 3D in some passages even on my 2.1 stereo system. Basically everything this particular pressing is well known for. I conservatively grade this record G plus according to Goldmine grading standards. It is playable all the way through, listenable, LOUD!, but definitely on the lowest end of what should be considered collectible. Whole Lotta Wear. Starter type copy. Lowest possible playable grade. Still a pretty tough one in any condition. The video clip is with an iphone 12.

Record albums shipped outside of jacket in separate sleeve, in Whiplash mailer, between multiple layers of cardboard and/or bubble wrap and only new mailing materials for your assurance. Ask questions before buying. Close up photos, videos, whatever you want. No problem. I want the buyer to fully understand what they are getting, and also that there are no returns or refunds on this item.
