Description
UP FOR AUCTION is the Led Zeppelin's 1969 LP "Led Zeppelin II" with original inner sleeve. Very well cared for and handled since I purchased in '69 as a young R&R guitarist. Stored in cool, dry conditions and has not been played in ~40 years. Sold as is without test but graded using guidelines below. Please see photos for further detail.

Grading
Cover: Front & Back appear VG/VG+; There is wear and scuffing along the edges and corners. 100% legible printed spine text (See photo)
Vinyl: VG++ Very Clean & Glossy, some light scratches, none can be felt.
Inner Sleeve: Original VG+; Some corner creasing and bottom mid-spilt.

Payment must include shipping and handling costs. I ship Media Mail which can take up to 10 business days, although usually shorter but sometimes a few weeks.
I will combine shipping! Media mail $4.50 for the first record and $ 1.00 for each additional LP.
We will only E-bayandship to the lower 48 States. Payment must be made within 5 days of end of auction, or NPB will be filed and item will be re-listed. All items are PACKED WITH CARE and shipped promptly after receipt of payment (usually within 2 business days).

Grading Criteria:
SS - Still Sealed For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
M - Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
NM - Near Mint - In factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - Close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - A used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear but plays great.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few scuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!

Notes
US 1st pressing, featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of the album, and that is the far more common version.Labels include "CP" suffix (indicating Columbia Pitman pressing) and "Mfg By Atlantic Recording Corp., 1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y.".
