LED ZEPPELIN II ROBERT LUDWIG HOT MIX RL SS
MONARCH first pressing with RL and SS (Sterling Sound) on both sides is the best pressing to have.
Vinyl grade VG-. An edge warp did not affect play (I use a groove tracer record weight). There are marks and hairline scratches/scuffs. See grading scale below for descriptions.
The 50+ year old record plays very strong and has been a really enjoyable listen for me. Played better for me than it looks. Some surface light crackle heard in lead in, quieter sections, and between tracks, light to moderate tick/pop surface noise at times with music. A white speck side 1 track 2 did not affect play. A couple short scratches can be felt by light fingernail across them. Did not skip on upgraded Rega Planar 3 and Dynavector 10x5 cartridge but other systems could produce other results. A good vacuum cleaning could possibly improve it (which I don’t have).
The Cover is rough shape has edge and spine wear, top and bottom seams are split, several dark stains on inside, name on front.
Not original inner sleeve, provided with Mofi archival sleeve.

GRADING SCALE: M Mint - usually reserved for sealed records. NM Near Mint with only one or two insignificant defects. EXC Extremely nice, would be NM except for a few light hairline scratches or scuffs which do not affect play. VG+ A nice but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It may play with a few pops or ticks but no serious problems. VG A well used record that still sounds OK but may have moderate surface noise, pops, etc. G A very worn record that plays through will do until a better copy comes along!
