Led Zeppelin II Original Robert Ludwig Hot Mix Presswell Pressing VG+/EX
Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo, "RL" Cut, PR - Presswell Pressing
Vinyl VG+. A few minor scuffs with very minimal affect on sound.
Cover and inlay Excellent. Corners and spine nice and sharp. Very slight smudge on upper left front cover. Staple holes from
original price tag in upper left front cover (goes all the way thru both front and back covers). See images.
US 1st pressing (with the 1841 Broadway address on the labels), featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides.
These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mis-track, leading people to
return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of
the album, the far more common version found today.
