Description
The infamous Robert “Bob” Ludwig cut of Zeppelin II.
I bought this from a private dealer at a record show in Philadelphia. I professionally cleaned it with a KAB Audio wet vac cleaner & I’ve played it just twice on high end equipment. It sounds superb. I rate the condition VG- to VG.
Side A has “RL”
Side B has “RL SS”
I would rate the fidelity of the music at A+, though there is surface noise throughout. There are absolutely no skips, no inner groove distortion, and the surface noise is only really prominent during the quiet passages. It doesn’t ever overpower the music, but it is there constantly.
Overall this is an outstanding pressing, and a great player copy. This is a good way to hear the RL hot cut without having to break the bank on a $900+ near mint copy.
Jacket is in VG condition with a tiny tear along the bottom seam, and few marks and shelf wear.
Record is stored inside a Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs rice paper style inner sleeve for maximum protection.
I will ship it with the record tucked in between the gatefold to prevent any damage to the jacket.
