Description
For bid is a copy of the legendary Robert Ludwig mastered version of Led Zeppelin II. This this is the SP pressing.
Side 1 Matrix: ST-A-691671 Side 2 Matrix: ST-A-691672 RL etched in the dead wax on both sides and SS stamped on side 2.
Vinyl is in a strong VG condition. Great gloss but some very light marks. I couldn't find any feelable marks. I was tempted to list this as being in VG+ condition but decided the the VG grade was the more conservative choice. I played the first two songs on side 1. There was occasional and light background noise but nothing intrusive. No loud pops or clicks. I thought it played better than it looked. It does play quieter than the CTH pressing I also have listed. It's not as bass heavy as the CTH pressing. However, to my ears it seems be more balanced.
The jacket is VG+. Pretty clean front with one mark you can see in the photo. Nice spine. There is a 4 inch seem split on the bottom.
Vinyl has been cleaned with MoFi's one step cleaner and comes with a MoFi inner sleeve. I think it could benefit from a more thorough cleaning.
