Please read: This sale is for a NM- Led Zeppelin II, SD8236, RLss both sides, generation II, CTH press, first stamper hot mix record, with an additional Mobil Fidelity Sound Labs record in NM- as well. Both records!
Your chance to own them both. I am the biggest seller of RLss records on eBay. I've sold every version many times over. I have an impeccable reputation for selling these records. You are buying from a known reputable seller with history of selling these type of records.
This RLss is a second generation. Both Monarch and Columbia Terra Haute were the only presses that made this version, it is even more rare then the first generation. CTH then went to a RLss/ssLH after 2000 of these were pressed, and then they quickly abolished that too. So their are about 2000 of these versus the 200,000 side two very narrow dead wax of the first generation RLss. The sound quality is exactly the same! Nothing was lost on the second generation, in fact......I feel that the side two sound stage is better on this version. Lead in and lead outs are silent. False ending is the best it can be, none better. No ticks, no pops, no static. Of course no skips, but that goes without saying. This is a play graded record for the audiophile collector.
This a 1A and 1B stamper.
Thick matte original cover is in excellent plus EX+ condition as well, comes with original inner sleeve that has retained all of its bright colors. No tears, splits or writing on the cover, labels or inner sleeve. Spindle hole is tight, not much play time on this record at all. No spindle marks on labels. This is an adult owned, none smoker collector quality record that will increase in value with each year.
The other record is a highly sought after MFSL limited pressed from master tapes. This is the second best version out of all of the many many versions of the Led Zeppelin II record that was ever pressed. It far exceeds the new Page production, the 200gm Classic production and all other non RL productions. A tad less punch then the RL, but a better sound stage and imaging is expected on this record that was pressed with much better technology and vinyl. This is a first press as well in NM- condition.
I have a very extensive Led Zeppelin collection. I offen pare records up to test them. Most of my records have several versions in the sleeve with the master copy. This is how my collection was set up. These are coming from my private collection.
