LED ZEPPELIN - 'LED ZEPPELIN II'
This barely played copy of their second studio album is a UK 1st pressing dating from October 1969 release on the two-tone 'plum' Atlantic label: 588198
Both label and cover credit track 3 on side 1 as 'The Lemon Song'.
Matrix numbers: 588198 A2 & 588198 B2
Disc weight: 141g
The disc is housed within an unlaminated, light brown 'E.J.Day' printed gatefold cover.
Complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate clean & vibrant set with just a handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are MINT & totally unmarked in strong daylight and reveal just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines consistent with careful iner-sleeve removal directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this superb copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This superb sounding copy has received just a handful of careful plays on high-end equipment and my single careful play-check at volume could find no trace of any groove/play wear or any ticks, clicks or indeed any other audible distraction or wear. You will not be disappointed with the sound quality on this one.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
This respectable early example displays some light to moderate storagewear but is without any major faults throughout. The front & rear panels are clean & undamaged showing just faint ringwear towards the upper edge but there are no signifcant blemishes or any missing paper. There is a bump to the upper left corner and some shelfwear rubbing to the lower left. however the other two and both opening edges are free from any major signs of wear. The inside of the gatefold is vibrant and unblemished and all seams are unstressed & unsplit. The spine is slightly discoloured but all the text is clean & undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with just a hint of age toning and an inevitable light disc impression but no writing, seam splits or tears.
