Description
New vinyl of Led Zeppelin II. I bought this copy sealed from a record store here in town and I had opened it to see if it was an "RL" pressing and it's not. So, I already have a copy of Led Zeppelin II on vinyl and I don't need two. The cover looks fantastic except on the corners there is some shelf wear, but other than that, I've never seen a LZII cover look this clean in person. The gatefold hasn't even been opened all the way. I can't even open the gatefold sleeve all the way without hearing the sleeve "set" (see picture of the fold). This is as far as I've opened it. The record looks flawless (as an unopened record should look), and the labels are perfect in every sense. No cracks around the center hole and no warping or writing on the lables. The color is fantastic on the cover and the texture is a bit different than my copy. It feels kinda rough like cardboard instead of smooth like my copy is. The inner sleeve is bent in the corner and is just a plain white sleeve. Everything you see is exactly how I pulled it out of the sleeve. I played a bit of Side 1 using an AT440MLa cartridge and it sounds very quiet & clean.
This record is columbia terra haute (CTH) pressing and has ST-A-691671CTH on the labels below song titles.
