Description
This is a fantastic copy of the iconic ‘Led Zeppelin III’, with a fully-laminated gatefold sleeve with working wheel, printed and made in England by E. J. Day, retaining Executive Producer: Peter Grant (which is removed from the labels on this pressing!)
This particular pressing is a late-1st or very early 2nd press, as the record bears first pressing matrix numbers A5/B5 but is pressed on the second generation Red/Maroon label design, with 2401-002 at 2 O'clock on the label.
The credit at the bottom of the label states in bold 'Produced by Jimmy Page', and centered underneath is "Warner Bros. Music".
The white cover shows a little aging, with very minor dirt discoloration; but there is only one single barely-bashed corner and a tiny clarifoil-type mark bottom of the rear sleeve. The inside gatefold is similarly off-white but pristine otherwise, and the cover wheel still works perfectly
No original inner I’m afraid, but the disc is similarly clean with NEARLY flawless labels. The record has some sleeve removal scrapes and hairlines but no obvious ‘scratches’.
We're grading a conservative EX overall due to being an online sale, but I've seen these called NM!
