Led Zeppelin III 3 LP UK 2nd Press Red & Plum Atlantic - Celebration Error

Description

An original 2nd press of Zep III on the UK Atlantic label from Q1 1971. Matrix A5/B7. Etchings 'So Mote It Be/Do What Thou Wilst'. Also please note that the labels exhibit an early error with the Track 'Celebration Day' omitting the word 'Day'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by E. J Day. The early covers are heavy card construction and make reference to being 'Deluxe'. That wheel in the front cover is fully operational. 
Vinyl (Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few marks either side - nothing heavy though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. These heavy set early red & plum copies really do deliver the goods. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect was a bit of static in a couple of places - e.g. intro to 'gallows pole'. And then a couple of clicks in the midst of Tangerine. Other than that we're talking a superb rendition. Please note there is light foxing on the labels.
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition and has clearly been cared for down the years. Front and back are nice and clean with some ageing at the extremities. Please note on the rear there are a few laminate creases - this is very common with Zep III and occurred during manufacture. The interior is in great condition too. Edge wear is light and the text on the spine is all still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies nice and flat.
