Released on the 5th of October 1970, this Lp was to define the 70's hard rock scene... & what an album!! Entering the UK charts at the No. 1 position.
Most of the songs on this album were composed in Bron-Yr-Aur, an 18th-century cottage in Gwynedd, Wales during the mid 70's, after a hectic North American tour.

The Vinyl:

There are only a few VERY light and insignificant marks to the vinyl. The audio really shines out with clarity. I found very little significant background noise the whole album played through clean and clear, with just a small amount of background crackle to the end of the last track on side 2...Even the wonderful quiet start of Since I've Been Loving You was gloriously clean and clear with crisp drum beats :)..In fact I noticed how prominant the bass line from JPJ was...I hadn't paid much attention to this before but it really hummed out of my speakers-adding a different dimension to this record I have listened to SO MANY TIMES!
I have just had the utter pleasure of listening to her all the way through-LOUD-!!

NO hole wear and just 1 or 2 very light spindle marks, which are only visible when angled towards the light and looking for them.
