Description

I purchased this in the secondary market advertised as near mint and following my own evaluation I agree with this.  As far as I can tell this is the 1972 reissue but I am not 100%  (A side dead wax reads S-4 K50002-A3 and discogs is not specific). Following a light cleaning I saw only a couple of faint surface lines and a test play through the Grados confirmed sound which was on par with the visual inspection and based on this numerically I score the vinyl a 95. Vinyl remains in a Mofi sleeve. The cover does show some very light corner wear, most noticeably a small rub spot on the bottom left corner and bottom right corner.  All of the seams are tight although on the top cover there are some a couple of tiny distress spots, that if struck with any significance will become splits. Within the bottom right area is a small 1” crease (sort of blends in but it is there). The cover is also in the shrink although I am not 100% certain this is the factory shrink based on the import sticker that seems to be part of the shrink.  (I have other albums with the Turtle store sticker on them so if this isn’t the factory shrink when it arrived at the store the original shrink was removed and replaced with this, again I don’t know but it looks fine and is not too tight).  This having been said numerically I score the cover an 92 which I feel is within the lower end of the near mint spectrum, like an A- in school,  The album will be shipped in between cardboard within a Whiplash record mailer.  If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
