This Classic Records pressing is held in high regard for its superior sound and is no longer in production.

On their first two albums, Led Zeppelin issued a relentless assault of heavy blues and rockabilly riffs, and Led Zeppelin III provided the band with the necessary room to grow musically. While there are still a handful of metallic rockers, III is built on a folky, acoustic foundation which gives the music extra depth. And even the rockers aren't as straightforward as before - the galloping "Immigrant Song" is powered by Plant's banshee wail, "Celebration Day" turns blues-rock inside out with a warped slide guitar riff, and "Out on the Tiles" lumbers along with a tricky, multi-part riff. Nevertheless, the heart of the album lies on the second side, when the band delves deeply into English folk. "Gallows Pole" updates a traditional tune with a menacing flair, and "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" is an infectious acoustic romp, while "That's the Way" and "Tangerine" are shimmering songs with graceful country flourishes. The band hasn't left the blues behind, but the twisted bottleneck blues of "Hats Off to (Roy) Harper" actually outstrips the epic "Since I've Been Loving You", which is the only time Zeppelin sounds a bit set in their ways.

Shipping Methods & Rates

Domestic (Excluding Hawaii and Alaska): If the Standard shipping option is chosen during checkout your order will be sent out via USPS Media Mail with no tracking or insurance. Please be aware that you choose this option at your own risk! Orders placed using the Expedited shipping option will be sent out via FedEx with online tracking and insurance. Tracking numbers will be sent at the winning buyers request.

Canada: Standard shipping for Canada is FedEx. Charges for all shipping methods are based on actual weight. Orders from Alaska and Hawaii will be based on actual weight.

Overseas: For packages lighter than five pounds, Airmail will be least expensive. Otherwise, we recommend FedEx as it is faster and safer than Airmail, and we are able to track your package through FedEx. We will ship through the United States Postal Service at your request. Please understand that shipping overseas through USPS can take up to four weeks. Also, we cannot track orders through USPS, and in the event that an order is lost, we cannot start a claim for 75 days with an additional four weeks for processing.

We will ship according to your preference, but if you do not specify a shipping method, we will choose the method we feel is best as outlined in the above paragraph. Acoustic Sounds will not understate (lower value) the declared value of any international order. Doing so is unlawful. All orders will be sent at full value.
