Description
Led Zeppelin - III
(Atlantic 2401002 UK LP 1970)
This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve, which have a moveable cog at the front. It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve.
The record has A-5/ B-5 matrix stampers. "Do What Thou Wilt" & "So Mote It Be" are etched in the dead wax. This is the earliest UK pressing which has the "Executive Producer -Peter Grant" credit on both labels. These are quite rare.
Gatefold Sleeve: Some mild general wear. The cog is in perfect working order. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: Mild sleeve rubs that can be seen under a strong light. There are two long hairline marks, one on each side. There are a couple of other light marks too. Good+ condition. There labels are clean but show moderate spindle wear. I have play tested this LP completely & it plays well overall. There is light crackle in a few of the quieter places. There are also a couple of clicks at the very start of Side 1, before the track starts. There is also a mild/ light click that is intermittent across a fair amount of Side 2. It is not too obtrusive.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
