Led Zeppelin - III

(Atlantic 2401002 UK LP 1970)

 

This is the original UK 1st pressing. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve, which has a moveable cog. It has its original polythene lined company sleeve. The record has 'red & maroon' Atlantic labels. They also have the "Executive Producer: Peter Grant" text on them. This was quickly changed to just the "Jimmy Page" credit. These are quite rare. 

The record has A-5/ B-5 matrix stampers. "Do What Thou Wilt" & "So Mote It Be" are etched in the dead wax.

 

Gatefol Sleeve: Some mild rubbing, & discolouration, wear. The cog works perfectly. VG condition.

Vinyl: There are some mild sleeve rubs, & the occasional light mark too. VG condition. I have played this record from start to finish. It plays very well, but there is mild crackle in the quietest places. The labels are nice and clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
