1971 UK 8-track vinyl LP, on the plum & red label Atlantic label.
GRADING:
Cover - Good Plus
Gatefold sleeve.
Some edge and seam wear.
Small piece of sleeve missing on inside of gatefold sleeve on left and right hand side near bottom, see photographs. Also a small piece missing on the front cover bottom left.
Textured inner sleeve has a bottom and side seam split.
Rear sleeve has the Kinney transition K50008 catalogue sticker on it.
Sleeve is not completely flat, probably where it has been stacked.
Stored as part of a huge record collection and does smell a little musty.
Record - Very Good
Red & Plum Atlantic labels are clean and tidy.
Matrix numbers are 2401012 B3 (crossed out) A//3 and 2401012 B//4.
Side one dead wax has the words 'PECKO DUCK' etched into the dead wax and side two has the word 'PORKY' etched into the dead wax.
The band name is at the top half of the label.
The Jimmy Page credit is at the bottom half of the label.
Vinyl has a few hairlines/scuffs present under close inspection only, probably due to the textured inner sleeve.
It plays well with some background noise, mainly between tracks. It is also present on a few tracks, noticeable but not overwhelming.
Summary
A reasonable copy of this rare album with the faults listed. Please bear these in mind when purchasing. A good collection filler and reasonable play copy.
Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: Sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion. Mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.

Record will be sent in a cardboard cruciform record mailer with additional cardboard stiffeners for extra protection. The record is also placed in a protective polythene sleeve. The record/inner will be removed from the main sleeve to guard against any seam/spine damage during postage.
