Description

Zep 4 original 1st issue from 1971 on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A3/B4. This copy holds the label error/typo 'MISTY MOUNTAIN TOP'. The LP comes housed in its original gatefold cover along with the original textured inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In beautiful condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. The labels are exhibiting a touch of light dirt in places. A thorough testing from beginning too end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. The audio quality is superb and this copy represents a top rendition of this very sought after album. Interference is minimal. We only detected a touch of light static in one or two isolated moments. The only deviation is a touch of crackle/flutter in the closing seconds of Stairway. That really is all. A beautiful little player.
Cover (Vg+) In nice condition with no significant defects. There's a bit of handling wear in a couple of places and a sticker removal mark in the top right. There is also moderate edge wear, but at no point has it worn through. Overall the cover still retains good rigidity and has survived the years well.
Inner (Vg) Bottom seam is split and has been carefully taped up.
