  1. DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4 ZOSO . 1ST UK pressing with second red/plum labels (Misty Mountain Top), No Peter Grant credit and Atlantic in central white band. Lowest A3/B3 (PECKO DUCK/PORKY) matrix. Dull matt gate fold sleeve and textured dark brown inner with no Gothic Print credit.  Postage cost includes tracking and a box or cruciform mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401 002 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/G+. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. It has a few light hairlines and brushing lines that have no effect on playback. It also has a 1cm thin surface line on "Black Dog" that causes a tick for approximately 8 revolutions, otherwise playback is Excellent. Played all of this today on my budget deck, Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Music is clean, clear and loud..  "Stairway To Heaven" has a few ticks in the first minute of the intro. "Battle Of Evermore" and "Going To California" both play through great. Side 2 playback is pretty much Excellent throughout. Gate fold cover is in average shape. It is firm and square and has moderate edge wear, corner wear and light creasing. It has a fine 2" split to centre of bottom rear edge. The inside of the gate fold is really clean.  It has "LZ4" printed in biro to front of the sleeve and a name and address to rear- check out the photos.  Delicate inner sleeve is possibly a bit better than average. It retains nice shape and is firm and square with splits to all 3 edges. Its  free from the usual heavy feathering to the top edge. It has a name and address printed to topof one side.Has a name printed to one side of otherwise clean labels. No rips, stickers or sticker tears.  . I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
