DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4 ZOSO . 1ST UK pressing with second red/plum labels (Misty Mountain Top), No Peter Grant credit and Atlantic in central white band. A3/B3 (PECKO DUCK/PORKY) matrix. Dull matt gate fold sleeve and textured dark brown inner with no Gothic Print credit. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401 002 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. It has a few hairlines and some brushing lines that have little effect on playback. Played all of this today on my budget deck, Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds not too far off Excellent. Music is clean, clear and loud. "Black Dog", "Stairway To Heaven" and "Going To California" have the odd tick. Gate fold cover is in better than average shape. It is firm and square and has moderate edge wear, corner wear and light creasing. The inside of the gate fold is really clean. Delicate inner sleeve is again a bit better than average. It retains nice shape. It is firm and square with splits to all 3 edges including a lengthy one to the bottom edge. Its free from the usual heavy feathering to the top edge. It has only one 1" tear to top edge. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
