DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4 ZOSO . 1ST UK pressing with third red/plum labels (Misty Mountain Hop), No peter grant credit and atlantic in central white band. A3/B4 (PECKO DUCK/PORKY) matrix. Dull matt gatefold with transitional record company sticker to rear. Textured dark brown inner with no gothic print credit. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401 002 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is really clean with a great sheen. Close to visual EX.. Played in its entirety tonight on my budget deck, Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent and better. Plays clean, clear and loud. It has a short mark on run in to "Black Dog" that causes a tick for 6 or 7 revolutions and another towards the end of "Twin Sticks" that has no effect on audio at all. Without these marks this would be a strong EX. There doesnt even seem to be any background sound between tracks or in run-ins. Cover is firm and square and has moderate edgewear, cornerwear and light creasing. Inner is in better than average condition to look at. It is firm and square- check out the photos . It does have lengthy splits to all 3 edges. The opening edge if firm and straight with no feathering at all. This usually has very heavy feathering. Really clean labels- check out the photos.. No writing, rips, stickers (apart from the transitional one) or sticker tears. All postage costs include insurance. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
