DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4 ZOSO . 1ST UK pressing with second  red/plum labels (Misty Mountain Top), No Peter Grant credit and Atlantic in central white band. A3/B4 (PECKO DUCK/PORKY) matrix. Dull matt gate fold sleeve and textured dark brown inner with no Gothic Print credit. Vinyl has been kept in a separate white inner and gate fold in a heavy PVC sleeve. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401 002 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/EX. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. Has some light hairlines and brushing lines only . Played in its entirety this morning on my budget deck, Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds pretty much Excellent. Generally plays clean, clear and loud. Has a trace of background sound in the quietest passages of "Stairway To Heaven" and Going To California".  Gate fold cover is one of the best I have seen. It is firm and square and has near minimal edge wear, light corner wear and less than light creasing. The inside of the gate fold is really, really clean. Spine is in nice condition with minimal wear.  Inner retains really nice shape. It is firm and square with splits to all 3 edges. Its free from the usual heavy feathering to the top edge. This one is very straight with only a 1cm tear to top edge - check out the photos . Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, sticker tears  or stickers. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
