Description
This is an original US First Press, Atlantic Records, 08 Nov. 1971.
This release was commonly referred to as 'Led Zeppelin IV', to follow in sequence with their previous three releases, but no actual title appears on the release.
This was later repressed in 1977 with same cover art and tracks.
Vinyl LP is in NM condition with a couple of smudges and only a few very light surface marks seen only under bright light, clean labels, gorgeous wax, nice luster, very close to NM. This LP has the Pecko Duck, Pecko runout etchings in the dead wax . Plays perfectly.
Inner sleeve is original matte and contains the lyrics to Stairway to Heaven.
Gatefold cover is in EXCELLENT condition. Virtually no corner wear & extremely minimal edge wear. No cracks or tears on spine. There are two small scratches on the bottom of the outside cover that are so small you can't see in photos. The inside illustration is entitled "The Hermit" and this character was later portrayed by Page himself in Led Zeppelin's concert film, The Song Remains the Same.
This album is a must have for any serious music collection.
