On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Led Zeppelin called "Led Zeppelin IV (Four Symbols)" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1971 UK Stereo 1st pressing!!! THIS LP IS SIMPLY MASSIVELY RARE - AND EXTREMELY RARE FOR 2 IMPORTANT REASONS!!!! FIRSTLY THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A FIRST PRESS WITH EARLIEST A//3 B//3 MATRICES!!! SECONDLY THIS LP HAS A MEGA RARE MISPRINT ON THE SIDE TWO RECORD LABEL!!!! THE TRACK 'MISTY MOUNTAIN HOP' IS INCORRECTLY MISPRINTED AS 'MISTY MOUNTAIN TOP!!!! THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE WITH THIS MEGA MISPRINT!!!!
A masterful fourth release. The best ZEP ever and this has the best song in the world??? Listening to Stairway on this original first press will make you feel elated as this opens up new dimensions in this track not heard before on re-issues or CD. Again peaking at No. 1 in the UK and US, this band could do little wrong at this time. This is a heavyweight record and sounds great even despite the fact that there are a few hairlines. Very hard to find these days ... And what's more ... this is the far rarer earliest version with the well documented label missprint indicating the very earliest batch.

Sensational sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy!!! NO skips or jumps. Some light static at times but easily masked by the powerful audio!!! This is really a stunning heavy glossy jet black vinyl. Nowadays impossible to locate with the "Mountain Top" misprint. Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.
Vinyl: VG+. A few hairlines but the audio is not affected. The audio is super!! On replay there are NO problems. NO jumps, NO sticks. A fantastic player and I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. Only the lightest of static in between tracks. I have come across this album dozens of times before but they were 95% of the time trashed. It is actually extremely hard to find a copy that has not been totally played out. The high groove walls of this earliest press to their job in conserving the absolutely stunning audio quality.
Gatefold Sleeve: EX++. a lovely sleeve without any writing and NO creases. Again this sleeve being unlaminated is extremely vulnerable like the original Vertigo sleeves for example. Rarely ever will you find this untarnished. The inside gatefold is likewise EX++. The edges have only very minimal wear, hardly noticeable even. A beautifully preserved sleeve like I have hardly ever seen before (and I have seen very many). All edges are deadstraight as is the spine. NO stains, NO smudges, NO creases!!!!!!!!This is a unique investment opportunity!!!
This is a great and seriously collectable super album!!
This has the original lyric inner sleeve which has a few tears to the top opening and two seam splits. It has the flipbacks which were only present on the first issues. The paper is also "rough" textured, unlike later ones that are smooth. Even later ones did not have the flipbacks. This lyric inner is actually very often missing.
Labels: EX+!!! Unbelievable!! Still like it was bought all those years ago.
