Description
~ Tin Comet Vinyl Records ~
This vinyl record album is from an estate collection that was very well cared for. I am not an audiophile and thus, do not have the proper equipment to test these vinyls. I inspect every record very closely under bright, direct light for damage or defects such as scratches, warpage, dimples, etc. I will not sell a record which is visibly damaged or defective (unless it's super valuable). This one meets my very high standards and I'm confident it will meet yours too.
Almost everything I sell is backed by my unconditional 30 day return policy. Since I can't physically test every record, I am extending that policy to include free return shipping within the United States, and to allow international returns at the buyers expense. This is on top of eBay's own buyer protection policy, so you're double protected. And now for some rules...
- Returned item must not be damaged or altered in any way (compared to photos).
- Buyers in the USA must request a prepaid return label through eBay.
- International buyers must contact me before sending the item back.
- Refund will be issued after I receive and inspect the item.
Grading Records
When I grade a record NM, I mean it really is near mint. If not, I grade it VG+. If I see any signs of wear at all, the slightest scratch or scuff, I give it a VG (most would still call it VG+). If I can't give it at least a VG, I'd rather not risk an unsatisfied buyer. That's why I generally don't sell albums less than VG condition unless it's especially valuable, such as a rare collectors item. If I think a record is going to skip or crackle or otherwise not sound great, I'd rather not sell it at all. Like NM, VG means it really is very good. You won't be disappointed, I promise.
Shipping Vinyl Records
When shipping vinyls I remove them from the cover and sleeve to prevent seam splits during transport. I also wrap the record separately to further protect it. I do my best to make sure your vinyl record (or anything I ship) arrives the way I sent it.

The items I sell come from estate sales and storage clean-outs among other sources. I generally don't know much about these items beyond what they are. I carefully inspect each item and describe is as best I can.
Photos & Descriptions
I wish I could write a description for every item I sell, but writing takes time and time is money. To help keep prices low, I use photos as much as I can. After all, a photo is worth a thousand words, plus they're multilingual!
Whether through photos or wordy descriptions, I try to provide you an accurate representation of the actual item. I don't enhance my photos or try to hide anything but rather, try to show everything I can. It's the best way to show you what you're buying, and what you can expect.
Make An Offer (when applicable) is always automated, so give it a try. If your offer is too low it will be declined. If it's at or above the lowest set price, the item is yours! (after you pay, of course)
Combined Shipping
I'm happy to combine shipping whenever possible. Simply don't pay for up to 7 days from the first item (disregard eBay's automated invoices) and I will send you an invoice at the end of that 7 day period. Or you can request an invoice anytime before then. Either way, if I can save you money on shipping, I gladly will! :)
When do I ship? (or why is my tracking number not tracking?)
I travel locally, so I am not able to ship items out every day. I pay for shipping labels online and provide a tracking number, usually the same day, because I like having things done. But I actually pack and ship the item(s) when I'm in town, generally 2 or 3 times a week.
Example: You buy something on Monday. I provide tracking the same or next day. Wednesday comes and you see the tracking is not showing any activity. That's because I haven't come home yet to actually put the items in the mail. It will be on it's way soon, I promise.

I leave positive feedback shortly after you pay. After all, you did your part, made good on the deal, and for that you're awesome.
