This is a Test Pressing of the phenomenal Led Zeppelin IV album. The Classic Records 200 gram vinyl normal version is out of print and hard to find. They usually sell for about $270. A sealed Test Pressing usually sells for as much as $400. Test Pressings are both the collector and audiophile choice.
Test pressings usually have “Test Pressing” printed on the label, along with matrix number and recording date. They have a white label and come in a plain white jacket with no cover art. They are produced in very small quantities to evaluate the quality of the disc production. These are the “First of the First” pressed. Test pressings are as good as it gets.
Led Zeppelin IV is the band’s greatest triumph. Song for song, it is virtually a compilation of greatest hits. Nothing much more really needs to be said about this legendary album.
This Test Pressing vinyl has been twice cleaned (Mint solution) by a Loricraft PRC4 record cleaning machine, rinsed with Fisher Scientific DIUF Water.
