Led Zeppelin IV ZoSo Original 1971 UK 1st Press Vinyl LP A3/ B4 PORKY PEKO DUCK.
ZEP 4...On the Plum label, A3/B4
PORKY and PEKO DUCK on the runout grooves and boy can you tell the difference when you play it..
My copy has seen better days but it still delivers that other worldly sound that you never tire of hearing, it's still exciting all these years later.
Ok enough reminiscing
The Vinyl record is the heavy deep grooved version that sounds the best, but my copy has a couple of issues, there's dirty marks on parts of the record that I can't shift...god knows what happened.
But...get this as I said above it's still sounds magical when played, yes there is some crackle and surface noise but it doesn't jump or skip, there are a few clicks.
These early Zep copies were built to last.
This sounds MILES better than it looks...and that's the main thing..
I've graded it Good+...but in my opinion, sound wise it should be very good plus..
The album cover is in very good condition with solid seams, but the spine is a bit ragged..
The Inner sleeve us like most Zep 4 inner sleeves a little "ripped and torn" but still better than most.
All in all its still a great copy of Zep 4 and well worth a bid,
