Description
IMO, the greatest rock LP by the greatest rock band of all time .Recorded in 1971 and not only are the songs innovative and powerful but after 53 years the entire album doesn't either feel or sounded dated. The list of greatest rock tunes like Rock and Roll When the levee breaks, Black Dog, and Stairway to Heaven to name a few . I was certainly lucky enough to see the band 4 times between 1969 and 1972.This pressing comes from the late 90s remaster by Bernie Grundman for Classic records. I have all the classic records remasters of the Zeppelin catalogue some 180 gram and some 200 gram Quiex versions and zeppelin IV and Zeppelin 1 are the best. These two pressings of 1 and IV are the best versions of these LPs with the exceptions of the 1st UK pressings which I was able to purchase in the early 90s when they were so much more affordable. So as I get older and my hearing begins to fade some of the LPs must go to make room. A lot of records have accumulated in the 60 years of buying LPs. The condition of this LP is the vinyl is NM. The vinyl is beautiful. The sleeve is EX. The upper right corner has minor loss and minor rub. The inlay sleeve and the artist rendering of the hermit is NM also
